Description
Yakhromsky white cabbage is a mid-season hybrid developed for cultivation in various climatic conditions. The maturity period is 90-100 days after seedling transplantation, allowing for harvest at optimal times. The leaf rosette is raised, with medium-sized leaves of blue-green color with a medium-intensity waxy coating; leaves are smooth or weakly blistered with a straight or slightly wavy edge. The head is round and dense with excellent internal structure, white in cut, weighing from 0.9 to 2.4 kg, ensuring ease of use and storage.
The variety is distinguished by high yield—reaching 60-80 tons per hectare in the Central region, with a marketable output of up to 88%. The cabbage is resistant to cracking and is weakly affected by thrips, and also possesses resistance to fusarium, which significantly reduces losses during storage and transportation. Thanks to these qualities, the Yakhromsky variety is suitable for long-term storage, retaining its taste qualities and marketable appearance.
Yakhromsky cabbage has excellent taste, making it versatile for use fresh, as well as for preparing cold and hot dishes. It is suitable for freezing, which expands its application possibilities in cuisine. High head density and good internal structure ensure ease of processing and cooking, while resistance to diseases and pests contributes to stable quality yield.
