Carrot Royal Chanson

Technical Profile of Royal Chanson

The Shantenay-type hybrid "Royal Chanson" from Seminis Vegetable Seeds is engineered for yield reliability and ease of handling. With a maturity window of 90–100 days, it provides growers with a predictable harvest schedule. The core technical advantage lies in its consistent conical shape and compact length of 10–15 cm, which is specifically optimized for mechanized harvesting, reducing breakage and mechanical stress on the crop.

Disease Resilience and Post-Harvest Performance

A critical component for commercial farming is the plant's pathology profile; Royal Chanson exhibits strong resistance to Alternaria blight, allowing for a more efficient fungicide management program. The internal texture is dense and deeply orange, characteristics that ensure the root vegetable maintains its premium quality after washing. With a storage potential of 6–7 months under controlled conditions, it remains a robust option for long-term supply chains.

• Market Versatility: Equally suited for fresh bunching sales and long-term storage programs.
• Processing Efficiency: High uniformity and structural integrity facilitate industrial peeling and processing.
• Agronomic Stability: Engineered to resist cracking, ensuring high output of marketable yields per hectare.
