Carrot Olimpiec (Olimpo F1) is a late-maturing hybrid developed by the breeding company Hazera. The vegetation period ranges from 100 to 125 days depending on growing conditions. This hybrid is characterized by high plasticity and is adapted to various climatic zones, allowing for successful cultivation in different regions. The plant's foliage is vertically directed, dark green in color, with good attachment, promoting healthy development and resistance to adverse conditions.

The root crops of the Olimpiec carrot have a uniform cylindrical or slightly conical shape with a rounded lower part. Their length varies from 17 to 22 cm, and weight is about 150-200 grams. The fruits have a rich bright orange color both outside and inside, with a smooth surface without outgrowths or eyes. The flesh contains about 8% sugar and 16 mg of carotene, as well as a significant amount of vitamins and beneficial microelements, making this carrot particularly valuable for nutrition.

The hybrid is resistant to diseases such as alternaria and powdery mildew, ensuring a stable yield even under unfavorable conditions. It is recommended to follow proper agronomy, avoid overcrowding plantings, and prevent soil waterlogging. The Olimpiec carrot is suitable for mechanized harvest collection, withstands transportation over long distances well, and can be stored in cool, dark conditions for up to 4-5 months. The main application of this hybrid is realization on the fresh market, use in home cooking, and processing.
