Carrot OLIMPIEC

Reliable Yields for Processing and Fresh Markets

The 'Olimpiyets' carrot variety from Semko-Junior is designed for farmers who prioritize a balance between visual appeal and cultivation technology. With a growing period of 100 to 120 days, it allows for efficient harvest planning and adaptation to specific farm requirements.

Agronomic Advantages

This variety shows high resistance to major threats like Alternaria blight and powdery mildew. Such phytosanitary reliability significantly reduces the need for frequent pesticide treatments, which is critical when growing products for sensitive markets.

Farm Management Scenarios

• Bunching Production: Featuring uniform cylindrical to semi-conical roots measuring 17–20 cm, the 'Olimpiyets' is perfect for early market sales in bunches.
• Processing Industry: With root weights between 150 and 200 grams, it is perfectly suited for automated cleaning and slicing lines.
• Early Start: The variety performs exceptionally well under plastic tunnels, enabling growers to get their produce to market ahead of the competition.

Although intended for medium-term storage (4–5 months), the roots retain their vibrant orange color and crisp texture, making them highly desirable for both wholesalers and retail chains. The 'Olimpiyets' is a professional tool for agronomists, forgiving minor cultivation errors while ensuring a consistent yield of high-quality produce.
