Carrot variety Tip-Top is a medium-early Nantes-type variety developed by Italian and American breeding programs. This variety is versatile in cultivation and adapted to various agroclimatic conditions, including dry summers and hot weather. The vegetation period ranges from 100 to 115 days from emergence, allowing harvest from June to October. Seeds have a high germination rate and can be sown in spring or under winter cover, expanding agronomic options. For maximum yield, carrots should be planted in sunny areas with loose soil, avoiding predecessors from the Apiaceae and legume families.

Fruits of the Tip-Top variety have an elongated-cylindrical shape, bright orange color, reaching 16-20 cm in length and weighing 90-165 grams. The flesh is juicy, crisp, with a citrusy core, characterized by high sugar content and carotene levels, making the carrots especially nutritious and tasty. Root crops are resistant to cracking, have good storability and transportability, allowing them to be used both fresh and for long-term storage in cellars and basements. Due to high resistance to major diseases including gray and white rot, as well as heat tolerance, the Tip-Top variety is a reliable choice for various regions.
