Morphological resistance and phytosanitary control

A key advantage of this hybrid is its resistance to pathogens that cause rot. Genetic resistance to white mold (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum) and gray mold (Botrytis cinerea) minimizes losses during storage and allows for a reduction in fungicide applications. This is critical for producers focused on sustainable farming and reducing pesticide impact.

Agronomic characteristics and application

A maturity period of 100–110 days allows Tip-Top to be used both in the main cycle and for film-covered early planting. The cylindrical shape and intense orange color make this hybrid ideal for washing and packaging: the roots show excellent commercial quality and uniformity in weight (from 80 to 150 grams).
