The roots have an orange core and skin, weighing between 100 and 150 grams, with a semi-spreading leaf rosette featuring medium-cut green leaves. This variety is distinguished by its excellent taste qualities and is suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and winter storage. The dry matter content in the roots is 12.8-13.1%, total sugar is 9.0-12.7%, and carotene is 12.7-15.0 mg per 100 grams of raw material.

Surazhevsкая 1 demonstrates high marketable yield, reaching 120-329 centners per hectare, with maximum figures up to 659 centners in the Khabarovsk Territory. The output of marketable product ranges from 70 to 94%, indicating the high efficiency of the variety. Under conditions of the Amur Region, this variety showed the best results in terms of yield — 58.5 tons per hectare, as well as high marketability of roots (97%) and significant weight, reaching 232-472 grams. The conical shape of the roots facilitates convenient transportation without damage.

In terms of biochemical indicators, Surazhevsкая 1 stands out with increased sugar content (about 11%) and vitamin C (7.4 mg per 100 grams), as well as a high level of carotenoids, making it a nutritious and tasty product. Organoleptic assessments confirm the superior taste qualities of this variety, making it a preferred choice among domestic carrot varieties.
