Description
Carrot variety Kolhospnitsia belongs to mid-season and mid-early maturing types with a ripening period from 93 to 132 days depending on growing conditions. The roots have an orange-red color and cylindrical or elongated-conical shape with blunt ends. Carrot length varies from 12 to 20 cm, and weight ranges from 88 to 185 grams. The root surface is smooth and shiny, the flesh is bright orange, juicy, sweet, and practically seedless, providing excellent taste qualities.
The variety is characterized by high yield, ranging from 3.2 to 6.3 kg per square meter, as well as good storability and resistance to cracking. The roots are fully buried in the soil and easily extracted, facilitating harvest. Kolhospnitsia carrot is recommended for fresh consumption, as well as for winter storage and processing. Due to its elevated carotene content, this variety is not only tasty but also nutritious.
Planting is possible both in spring and under winter conditions, including sowing into frozen soil in November. The plant has a large, upright leaf rosette, which promotes good root development. Kolhospnitsia is valued for its combination of high yield, excellent taste, and versatility of use, making it a popular choice among gardeners and farmers.
