Carrot Knyaginya

Optimized for Early Harvest and Long-Term Storage

The «Knyaginya» carrot variety from «Vashe khozyaystvo» is designed for farmers who prioritize both production speed and product durability. This variety is an excellent choice for businesses looking to optimize their land use by producing early crops under cover and maintaining high-quality produce throughout the winter season.

Field Performance and Operational Benefits

For agricultural producers, «Knyaginya» stands out as a reliable variety that handles intensive cultivation practices well. Key operational advantages include:

• Early Production: Designed to germinate successfully in cooler spring soils, this variety is ideal for early planting under plastic or agro-textile covers. This enables growers to target early-season markets where demand and pricing are highest.
• Exceptional Storage Life: Unlike many early-maturing varieties, «Knyaginya» does not soften quickly. Its dense tissue structure ensures excellent preservation in storage facilities, allowing farmers to wait for better market prices during winter without significant shrinkage or loss of quality.

The variety features consistent root geometry, which is a critical factor for successful mechanical harvesting. Uniform shape reduces damage during extraction and cleaning, leading to fewer post-harvest infections in the storage stack.

From an agronomic perspective, «Knyaginya» displays high resistance to growth cracking even when soil moisture levels fluctuate. This allows for more flexible irrigation management. Whether you are aiming for high-margin early sales or planning to store the harvest for the late-winter market, this variety provides the structural integrity needed for high-quality commercial farming.
