VITAMIN 6

VITAMIN 6 is a mid-season carrot variety with cylindrical orange-red roots and blunt tips. Root length ranges from 15 to 19 cm, and weight varies between 65-200 g. The flesh is crunchy, juicy, and sweet, containing 7-11% sugar, with a small core that closely matches the color of the flesh. Thanks to its high carotene content, this variety is excellent for carrot juice preparation, as well as fresh consumption, canning, and freezing.

The growing period for VITAMIN 6 ranges from 80 to 120 days, allowing for a medium-term harvest. Yields reach up to 10 kg per square meter. The roots have a smooth surface and are not prone to cracking, making them ideal for winter storage. For successful cultivation, the crop requires regular watering and soil loosening, as well as fertile and loose soil.

For sowing, it is recommended to use seeds soaked in room temperature water for a day, then dried at 15-16 °C until they become loose. Seeds are sown at a depth of 2-3 cm into moistened soil at a rate of about 0.3 g per square meter. This approach ensures synchronized germination and good plant growth, contributing to a high-quality and abundant harvest.
