Carrot Crimean Carrot

A Benchmark for Industrial Processing

The «Krymchanka» carrot variety has established itself as a reliable asset in the Ukrainian industrial vegetable sector. Developed by the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the NAAS, this variety was engineered to meet the specific demands of farmers looking for a crop that balances high yields with the rigorous requirements of modern food processing.

Agronomic and Commercial Profile

Unlike imported hybrids focused primarily on early maturation or retail aesthetics, «Krymchanka» is built for scalable, efficient production. Its core value proposition lies in its durability and post-harvest performance:

• Washing Efficiency: The roots feature a uniform shape and robust skin, which minimizes damage during automated washing and high-speed packaging lines.
• Processing Versatility: The variety offers an optimal dry matter and sugar content ratio, making it a preferred choice for manufacturers of juices, purees, and frozen vegetable mixes.

For large-scale farming enterprises, «Krymchanka» represents consistency. It performs predictably under Ukrainian climatic conditions, providing the stability needed to fulfill long-term industrial supply contracts. It is an ideal choice for producers who prioritize technical processing quality and supply chain reliability over purely aesthetic shelf appeal.
