Lasunya

Carrot variety Lasunya belongs to mid-season varieties with a maturation period of 80 to 110 days. The roots are cylindrical with blunt tips, 15 to 25 cm long and weighing 60 to 160 grams. The surface of the carrots is smooth and shiny, with almost no core. The color of the roots is intensely orange with a reddish tint, giving them an attractive appearance.

The flesh of Lasunya carrots is dense, juicy, crisp, and tender, with high juice content and a sweet taste. Thanks to these qualities, the carrots are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for processing and long-term winter storage. The yield of this variety is high, reaching 3.5 to 7.3 kg per square meter.

For successful cultivation of Lasunya carrots, it is recommended to use fertile, loose soils with adequate moisture. Before sowing, seeds should be soaked in room-temperature water for a day, then dried at 15-16°C until they become loose. Sowing is done into moist soil at a depth of 2-3 cm, with a seeding rate of about 0.3 g per square meter. This approach ensures uniform germination and high yield.
