Blueberry CLOCKWORK

Blueberry variety CLOCKWORK exhibits high resistance to the pathogen Phytophthora cinnamomi, as confirmed by a 2016 study. This variety maintains significant shoot and root biomass even when infected, making it a promising choice for cultivation on soils prone to this disease. Such resistance ensures stable yields and reduces the risk of losses due to disease.

Moreover, the CLOCKWORK variety is ideally suited for mechanical harvesting due to its high berry density and short harvest window. These characteristics enable efficient use of modern harvesting technologies, reducing harvesting costs and increasing productivity. Blueberries of this variety are well-suited for freezing, particularly for the IQF (individually quick frozen) market, expanding its commercial applications.

Recommended for gardening and farming operations focused on industrial blueberry cultivation and processing. The variety combines disease resistance with ease of mechanical harvesting, making it a cost-effective and practical choice for modern agricultural enterprises.
