Blueberry PASTEL

Blueberry variety 'Pastel' is a unique decorative plant that attracts attention with its unusual multi-colored berry coloring. On one bush, berries of various pastel shades — cream, pink, lilac, and dark blue — ripen simultaneously, creating an effect of a living, changing necklace. This variety is medium-late maturing, with fruits appearing in August. Berries are medium-sized, distinguished by their sweet and aromatic flavor, making them not only beautiful but also delicious.

'Pastel' blueberry bushes are compact and low-growing, reaching a height of about 90-120 cm, making them ideal for container cultivation and balconies. Due to their size and decorative appeal, the variety is excellent for patio and ornamental bed landscaping. The plant requires minimal care: it prefers sunny locations, acidic soil, and regular watering, which is typical for blueberries in general.

Purchasing 2-3-year-old potted saplings allows for quicker harvest, as such plants are already well-developed and begin fruiting sooner. Blueberry 'Pastel' is an excellent choice for those who want to combine decorative appeal with the possibility of growing tasty berries in limited spaces, such as on a balcony or in a garden.
