EF-14 062 is a high-yield, medium-height blueberry variety with a widely spreading bush reaching up to 2 meters in height. The bush features medium-sized shoots that are straight and non-hairy, while the leaves are dark green, elliptical in shape, and have a smooth, matte surface. The bark on the trunk is rough, but becomes smooth on the branches.
The berries are of medium size (about 2 g) and oval in shape, blue in color, and covered with skin of medium thickness. They contain 9.9% sugar, 0.55% acid, and 9.7 mg of vitamin C per 100 g of product. The sensory evaluation of fresh berries is 5.0 points.
Yield reaches 114.1 c/ha, which significantly exceeds the regional average (50.8 c/ha). The variety bears fruit only on the growth of the previous year and has a late ripening period – harvesting begins from mid-July to early August. It withstands drought and frost well, as well as is resistant to various diseases and root rot, making it suitable for mechanized harvesting.
