Strawberry variety Federica is a new very late Italian variety with high resistance to the most common fungal diseases. This variety is suitable for cultivation on all types of soil, but prefers sunny spots with neutral or slightly acidic soil. Medium-statured bushes, capable of withstanding heavy loads, frost-resistant, and do not require winter protection, which simplifies care and increases cultivation reliability.

Federica berries have a conical shape with a truncated tip, resembling a heart, and an average weight of about 35 grams. At full ripeness, they acquire a rich bright red color, sometimes transitioning to a dark red hue. The skin is firm and glossy, and the flesh is medium-firm, juicy, sweet, and has a dessert-like aroma, making them especially attractive to consumers.

The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 700 to 1000 grams of quality berries can be harvested from one bush. Berries are resistant to rainy weather, significantly reducing losses during open-ground cultivation. Federica is suitable for cultivation both in open ground, greenhouses, or hydroponics, which allows increasing yield and expanding the range of applications for this variety in industrial production.
