EREVANIAN RUBIN

The Basil variety 'Erevansky Rubin' is an annual aromatic herb with a characteristic clove-pepper aroma and a robust taste. The leaves and stems of the plant have a rich reddish-purple hue, giving it decorative appeal. Bush height reaches 40-60 cm, and plant mass varies from 300 to 500 grams. This variety is distinguished by its early maturity — the basil is ready for consumption and harvest just 35-45 days after germination.

Erevansky Rubin is excellent for growing both in open ground and at home, for example, on a windowsill. The plant prefers soil rich in humus and sunny, warm areas. Regular watering, loosening, and fertilizing are necessary to maintain the high quality of leaves and preserve their tenderness. During the vegetative period, it is recommended to cut 2-3 shoots, which allows obtaining a yield of up to 2.1 kg of greens per square meter.

This basil is widely used in cooking both fresh and dried. Its aroma and taste perfectly complement salads, fish and meat dishes, sauces, and are also used for pickling vegetables and flavoring baked goods.
