Basil LEMON BASIL

A Spicy Addition to Your Kitchen

The "Lemon Aroma" basil variety from NPK NK Ltd is a compact solution for anyone looking to grow fresh herbs at home. Standing at just 20–30 cm tall, this plant is perfectly suited for container gardening or small windowsill planters. Unlike taller field varieties, it requires minimal pruning and maintains a neat, decorative appearance throughout the season.

Growth and Cultivation

Seeds of this variety typically sprout within 10–14 days. The key to a successful harvest is exposure to direct sunlight. Without adequate light, the plant's essential oils—which give it its characteristic scent—will not fully develop. It thrives best on sunny south-facing windowsills or under supplemental grow lights.

Culinary Applications

The defining feature of this hybrid is its distinct citrus fragrance balanced by a mild, sweet flavor profile. It is a versatile herb in the kitchen, often used for:

• Infusing refreshing homemade lemonades and teas;
• Pairing with fish and seafood dishes;
• Adding a unique twist to fruit salads and desserts;
• Drying for homemade seasoning blends.

NPK NK Ltd has optimized the genetics of this basil for home growing, ensuring that even small-scale gardeners can enjoy a consistent harvest of high-quality, aromatic greens.
