ERIVAN EMERALD

Erivan Emerald Basil - an early and high-yielding variety of green basil, characterized by a compact bush growing from 30 to 50 cm tall with bright green glossy medium-sized leaves. The leaves have a pleasant taste and a subtle aroma reminiscent of anise and pepper. The vegetative period lasts from 50 to 70 days depending on growing conditions, allowing you to harvest fresh greens as early as July to September. This variety is distinguished by its high yield, reaching about 1 kg per square meter, and disease resistance.

The plant is thermophilic and prefers temperatures in the range of 20-25°C. Erivan Emerald basil is suitable for cultivation in open ground, greenhouses, as well as containers on a windowsill or balcony, allowing year-round cultivation. Seeds can be sown by seedling method after the threat of spring frosts or by direct sowing under greenhouse conditions. Thanks to its adaptability, the variety is suitable for both home gardening and commercial cultivation.

Basil greens are widely used in cooking: fresh or dried leaves serve as a seasoning for various dishes, flavor sauces, vegetables during canning, and confectionery.
