OLD YEREVAN

The 'Old Yerevan' basil variety belongs to mid-season types, with a period from full germination to the beginning of commercial readiness of 55-65 days. The plant has an upright stem and a raised leaf rosette. Leaves are of medium size, oval-shaped, purple in color with a crimson tint, the leaf surface is smooth with a wavy edge. Flowers have a dark purple color, which gives the plant decorative attractiveness.

The mass of one plant varies from 150 to 200 grams, and the yield of greens reaches 2.5-3.0 kg per square meter.
