Fresca — a mid-early variety of curly parsley, characterized by a period from full emergence to the first harvest of greens in 60-70 days. Medium-height plants form a strong, spreading, and slightly elevated leaf rosette. The leaves are medium-sized, dark green, heavily crinkled, and tender, providing high decorative appeal and ease of use. After cutting, the greens regrow quickly, allowing for multiple harvests during the season.

This variety is valued for its abundant aromatic greens rich in essential oils and vitamins, making it an excellent choice for both fresh and dried use. Fresca boasts a high yield of leaf mass — up to 3-5 kg per square meter — as well as outstanding flavor and aroma qualities, making it popular among gardeners and greens enthusiasts.

For growing the Fresca variety, it is recommended to use fertile, loose loamy and sandy-loam soils with a deep plow layer. Best predecessors include cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions. Sowing is conducted in several stages: early spring (end of April — beginning of May), under winter (October — November), and mid-summer (end of June). Seeds are sown in rows with 3-4 cm between plants and 20-30 cm between rows, ensuring optimal conditions for growth and development of greens.
