Winter wheat Urbanus, bred by the European company Saatbau, is an elite variety with high winter hardiness and excellent adaptability to various climatic conditions. This variety features a long, awned ear with excellent grain density, contributing to a high yield potential of 6-9 tons per hectare. Urbanus is highly tolerant to drought and stress, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in diverse regions and on various soil types.

Urbanus tolerates late sowing well due to its high initial growth rates, allowing effective use of sowing areas even under unfavorable weather conditions. Optimal sowing dates are from September 10 to 25 with a seeding rate of 3.6-4.0 million seeds per hectare, while late sowing is from September 25 to October 5 with a rate of 4.2-4.6 million seeds per hectare. This flexibility in sowing dates expands the agronomic potential of the variety.

The Urbanus variety exhibits high disease resistance, reducing the need for intensive chemical protection and promoting more environmentally friendly production.
