SVIYAGA

SVIYAGA is a variety of soft spring wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) of the gostianum type, characterized by medium ripening and a vegetation period of 80 to 89 days. The plant is dwarf, with a semi-erect bush and a pyramid-shaped spike of medium density, which has an almost white color and long awned ends. The variety has a strong waxy bloom on the spike and flag leaf sheath, which contributes to its resistance to unfavorable conditions. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 32 to 42 grams, indicating good grain quality.

The SVIYAGA variety is distinguished by high resistance to lodging and a wide range of diseases, including powdery mildew, brown rust, Fusarium of the spike, Septoria leaf and leaf spotting. In addition, it exhibits high resistance to sprouting on the root and good drought resistance, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. Thanks to these characteristics, the variety demonstrates stable and high yields - in the Western Siberia region it reaches 35.8 centners per hectare, which exceeds the average standard by 2.8 c/ha.

SVIYAGA is recommended for cultivation in the Altai Krai, Kemerovo and Tomsk regions, where it adapts well and shows excellent results. Baking qualities of the variety are assessed as satisfactory, making it suitable for the production of quality flour and bakery products. This variety combines high productivity, disease resistance and resistance to adverse factors, as well as good grain technological properties, which ensures its demand among agricultural producers.
