This variety is distinguished by its high protein content — 12.5%, and gluten — 23%, making it valuable for producing high-quality flour. Soborna is recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and meadow regions. Plants reach a height of 60-70 cm, with a thousand-grain weight of 46-48 g. The variety is characterized by high drought resistance, winter hardiness, and resistance to various diseases, such as root rots, powdery mildew, septoria, and Fusarium head blight. Additionally, it exhibits good resistance to lodging, shattering, and stem breakage, contributing to stable yields.
Soborna is distinguished by its bushy growth habit and adaptability to various soils, enabling effective use under different agronomic conditions. Recommended seeding rates depend on planting dates: 3.7 million seeds per hectare for early planting, 4.5 million for medium dates, and 5 million for late planting. These parameters ensure optimal plant development and maximum yield.
