Wheat Soliflor KS

French breeding for stable yields

Winter wheat "Soliflor KS" by Caussade Semences is a solution for farmers focusing on intensive agriculture. French genetics here are aimed not only at ear potential but also at strict phytosanitary control. The main feature of this variety is its pronounced resistance to powdery mildew, which is critical in conditions of high humidity and dense planting.

Key advantages

• Awned ear type: provides better protection against birds and more uniform load distribution during grain filling.
• Immune status: reduced need for fungicide treatments against powdery mildew saves budgets during crop protection.
• Genetic potential: breeding from Lidea France and Caussade Semences ensures high adaptability to European grain quality standards.

"Soliflor KS" shows the best results in highly fertile soils when nitrogen fertilizer technology is followed. Unlike many competitors, this variety demonstrates high tillering, allowing for effective ground cover even at low seeding rates. The awned nature of the plant not only serves as a biological barrier but also contributes to more efficient photosynthesis in the upper part of the plant.

Who is this variety for?

It is optimal for farms where fungal leaf diseases are the main problem. If you are tired of constant chemical applications during the spring tillering period, "Soliflor KS" will be a reliable tool for reducing pesticide pressure. The variety is demanding on the agricultural background: to unlock the potential established by French breeders, it is important to provide the plants with microelements during the jointing phase. This is a choice for professionals aimed at obtaining high-class commercial grain with predictable gluten indicators.
