Odesskaya Guarantee

Odesskaya Guarantee — a universal variety of winter wheat, intended for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones, including forest-steppe and steppe regions. This variety belongs to the medium-early maturity group and is characterized by medium plant height ranging from 97 to 109 cm. The yield potential of this variety ranges from 7.4 to 10.8 tons per hectare, making it a high-yielding choice for grain use.

The variety is distinguished by high resistance to major diseases and adverse factors such as lodging, shattering, root rot, septoria, fusarium, brown rust, and powdery mildew, with resistance ratings from 5 to 8 points. Additionally, Odesskaya Guarantee has a high protein content in grain — from 11.6 to 15.8%, and the 1000-grain weight varies within the range of 43.2–45.8 grams, indicating high grain quality and strong baking properties.

The variety is recommended for intensive agronomy, including use on non-rotational predecessors such as rapeseed and sunflower. It is well-suited for zero-tillage conditions and demonstrates good winter hardiness and cold resistance, ensuring stable high yields under various climatic conditions.
