The winter wheat variety Vigen is an intensive type with enhanced resistance to various diseases, such as brown rust, powdery mildew, septoria, and fusarium of the ear. It is recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones, making it a versatile choice for various agro-ecosystems. The vegetation period is 273-280 days, and plant height reaches 95-100 cm, ensuring good stand structure and resistance to lodging and shattering.

Vigen is distinguished by high winter hardiness and cold resistance, rated at 8-9 points, as well as heat tolerance, enabling successful cultivation under various climatic conditions. The yield potential of the variety varies from 8.8 to 9.9 tons per hectare, confirmed by multi-year trials. The recommended seeding rate is 4.5-5.5 million germinated seeds per hectare, promoting optimal plant development and maximum productivity.

The grain quality of the Vigen variety is high: protein content ranges from 13.5-14.2%, and gluten content is 28.3-29.6%. The thousand-grain weight is 41-43 grams, indicating dense and high-quality grain.
