ODARI

ODARI is a hard winter wheat (Triticum durum Desf.) variety intended for the production of high-quality grain used in the manufacture of pasta and cereal products. The variety has a medium-late vegetation period ranging from 221 to 279 days and is characterized by high potential yield, reaching up to 110 centners per hectare. The mass of 1000 grains varies within 41-48 grams, indicating grain size and density, which are important for technological properties during processing.

The plant is medium-height, short-stemmed, and resistant to lodging, ensuring crop stability and ease of harvesting. The variety has good winter hardiness, comparable to the reference variety Krupinka, and high drought resistance, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including the Northern zone of Krasnodar Krai and the Southern zone of Rostov Oblast. Thanks to these characteristics, ODARI demonstrates stable productivity even in complex weather conditions.

The variety is resistant to a range of diseases, including septoria, yellow rust, and powdery mildew, reducing the need for frequent fungicide application and enhancing production ecological safety. However, it is susceptible to head blight and has medium resistance to brown rust and leaf spots. High grain and pasta quality indicators make ODARI an attractive choice for farmers focused on producing high-value-added products.
