Description NADEZHDOKUZBASS
Nadezhda Kuzbass — a soft wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) variety offered in two versions: spring and winter. Spring wheat is mid-season with a vegetation period of 76-90 days, recommended for cultivation in the Western Siberia region, specifically in the Kemerovo region. The winter form of the variety is also mid-season, with a vegetation period of 281-326 days, adapted to the conditions of the Middle Volga region and the Southwestern zone of the Penza region. Both versions are characterized by medium-height plants with semi-erect culms and lodging resistance, ensuring crop stability and ease of mechanized harvesting.

Nadezhda Kuzbass wheat is distinguished by good drought resistance and winter hardiness, especially the winter form, which in terms of winter hardiness is comparable to the Bezenchuk 380 and Kazan 285 varieties. The mass of 1000 grains varies from 33 to 50 grams depending on the version and growing region; the grain is large, uniform, with a natural weight of 790-810 g/l. The ear of spring wheat is pyramidal with medium density, while the winter form has a cylindrical and loose ear; both are white with short awns. The waxy bloom on the ear and upper internode varies from medium to strong, which helps protect against adverse factors.

The baking qualities of the variety are high: protein content in the grain reaches 15.0-16.2%, raw gluten - 32.6%, which ensures the production of high-quality flour and bread with good organoleptic properties. The variety is moderately susceptible to powdery mildew and Septoria, but susceptible to root rots, loose smut, and brown rust, which requires the application of appropriate agro-technical measures. Nadezhda Kuzbass is used in bread, cereal, and other food production, demonstrating stable yields and adaptation to various climatic conditions.
