MIP Dniproanka

MIP Dniproanka — this is a high-yielding, mid-season winter wheat variety developed by the Myronivs'k Institute of Wheat named after V.M. Remesla and registered in 2018. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe zone and Polissia, confirming its adaptability to different climatic conditions. It is characterized by a long post-harvest ripening period, which contributes to improved grain quality and increased yield.

One of the key advantages of MIP Dniproanka is its high winter hardiness and frost resistance, ensuring good plant survival even under conditions of insufficient snow cover, frequent frosts in winter, and lower temperatures in spring. The variety also exhibits high drought tolerance, resistance to lodging, shattering, and germination of grains in the ear, making it a reliable choice for farmers. Additionally, it positively responds to high fertility levels, but also demonstrates high yield even on low fertility and non-rotational predecessors.

MIP Dniproanka has high resistance to major wheat diseases, such as powdery mildew, brown rust, leaf septoria, and fusarium of the ear, as well as moderate resistance to hard smut. The grain of this variety is characterized by high quality: grain density is 828 g/l, crude protein content — 13.8–14.5 %, and crude gluten content — 24.7–26.6 %. Yield levels vary from 7.1 to 10.2 t/ha, indicating its high productivity and efficiency in agricultural production.
