MIP Nika

MIP Nika is a winter soft wheat variety developed by the Myronivs'k Institute of Wheat named after V.M. Remesla of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine and registered in 2022. This variety is characterized by high yield, ranging from 6.4 to 9.7 tons per hectare, making it attractive for agricultural production. MIP Nika is ideally suited for cultivation on low-fertility soils, ensuring stable grain output even under adverse conditions. The variety exhibits high winter hardiness and resistance to lodging and shattering, which contributes to yield preservation. Additionally, MIP Nika has good resistance to major wheat diseases such as powdery mildew, brown rust, fusarium head blight, and leaf septoria. High frost resistance and effective protection against pathogens ensure the reliability of the crop under various climatic conditions. The quality of MIP Nika grain is also high: the crude gluten content reaches 32%, and the flour strength is 288 units of activity. The bread volume made from this variety's flour exceeds 950 cm³, indicating its high baking value. Thanks to these characteristics, MIP Nika is a promising variety for producing high-quality wheat with high yield and stability.
