Wheat Memory

Breeding legacy of the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center

The "Pamyat" winter soft wheat variety is a professional development from the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center. This variety was designed to provide agricultural producers with a reliable planting material capable of delivering consistent yields under varied environmental pressures.

Agronomic Profile and Disease Resistance

The variety demonstrates balanced development, yielding a potential of 4-5 tons per hectare. The primary focus of the breeding process was on inherent genetic resistance to major grain pathogens, allowing farmers to optimize their fungicide application programs:

• High genetic resistance to yellow and brown rust prevents rapid loss of green mass during the spring growth stage.
• The crop shows strong tolerance to mycosphaerella spot, powdery mildew, and brown spot, preserving the photosynthetic capacity of the flag leaf until maturity.

Combined with good lodging resistance, "Pamyat" remains a robust choice for farms focusing on high-quality commercial grain production through professional management practices.

Market Position

"Pamyat" is recognized as a tool for ensuring predictable yields. In a market where phytosanitary conditions are becoming increasingly difficult to control, opting for genetics from the P.P. Lukyanenko National Grain Center helps mitigate risks associated with sudden pathogen outbreaks and climatic stressors, ensuring the stability of the crop throughout the entire growing season.
