YUKA® soft spring wheat represents a high-quality variety of grain wheat intended for use in food and animal husbandry industries. This variety is characterized by excellent bread-making qualities and high yield, reaching up to 89.2 centners per hectare. YUKA® is a mid-late and medium-stature variety, resistant to lodging and grain shedding, which ensures reliability in cultivation.
The variety has high resistance to major wheat diseases, such as brown rust and powdery mildew, as well as moderate resistance to septoria. Thanks to these characteristics, YUKA® is well-adapted to various climatic conditions, making it recommended for cultivation in regions with diverse climates, including Krasnodar Krai, Rostov Region, the Republic of Adygea, and Stavropol Krai.
YUKA® was bred through fourfold individual selection of a hybrid type, including varieties «Polovchanka» and «Rufa». This variety is the result of advanced research and development work and is registered in the State Variety Register of the Russian Federation as an innovative achievement. The selection technology on which YUKA® is based is patented and developed at the Krasnodar Experimental Agricultural Station of NIISSKh, confirming its high adaptability and prospects for agricultural production.
