Wheat Legend Myronivska

Stability and Potential from the Classics of Selection

When it comes to choosing a variety for commercial farming in Ukraine, the V.M. Remeslo Myronivka Institute of Wheat stands as a benchmark of reliability. "Legenda Myronivska" is the breeders' answer to farmers tired of demanding, high-intensity varieties. In conditions of an unstable climate, this variety demonstrates remarkable resilience, combining a genetic yield potential of 8–9 tons with an phenomenal winter hardiness of 9 points.

Agronomic Advantages

• Stress Resistance: The variety remains virtually unaffected by temperature fluctuations and early spring frosts. This makes it an ideal choice for producers operating in regions with a high risk of winterkill.
• Defense Shield: Genetically embedded tolerance to root rots, brown rust, and septoria allows for significant optimization of fungicide costs. The plant successfully resists powdery mildew, fusarium, and mycospaerella leaf spot.
• Manageability: A plant height of 90–100 cm, combined with excellent lodging resistance, simplifies harvesting even in high-humidity conditions, minimizing grain losses.

Who is the "Legenda" for?

This variety is aimed at professional agricultural producers seeking predictable results. With a productive stem density of 4.5–5.0 million units/ha, "Legenda Myronivska" exhibits stable tillering. It is not a "race car" variety that requires extreme fertilizer doses to reach its potential; instead, it is a "workhorse" that rewards proper care with a consistent yield of high-quality grain. It forgives many minor technological errors, making it an optimal solution for farms looking to reduce production risks without sacrificing total output.
