Morphological and Growth Characteristics

The plants reach a height of 90–100 cm. The awned spikes are an essential trait for uniform grain development. With a moderate resistance to lodging, the variety performs best when managed for an optimal stand density of 4.5–5.0 million productive stems per hectare.

Yield and Quality Standards

• Productivity: The potential yield reaches 4–5 tons per hectare, supported by a thousand-kernel weight (TKW) of 35–40 grams.
• Grain Quality: The gluten content exceeds 30%, meeting the high-quality requirements for the pasta industry and ensuring high commercial value.

Phytosanitary Protection

The variety demonstrates genetic resistance to brown rust. To safeguard yield potential, a robust fungicide program is required to manage complex smut diseases (loose smut, covered smut, onion stem smut).
