Helios is a systemic herbicide of broad-spectrum action designed for the effective destruction of a wide range of annual and perennial weeds on agricultural lands and non-agricultural lands. The active ingredient of the preparation is the isopropylamine salt of glyphosate at a concentration of 480 g/l (in acid equivalent 360 g/l), which ensures high efficiency of the means. The herbicide is released in the form of a soluble concentrate and delivered in 20-liter cans. The preparation is applied by single spraying of actively vegetating weeds, during which it quickly penetrates through leaves and other green parts of plants, spreads to all organs, including the root system, which leads to the complete death of unwanted vegetation.
The mechanism of action of Helios is based on the suppression of amino acid synthesis in plant cells, which causes inhibition of chlorophyll synthesis and subsequent death of weeds. Thanks to the unique formulation and modern production technologies, the herbicide has no soil activity, which reduces the risk of negative impact on subsequent crops. The storage temperature of the preparation is from +5 to +35 °C, which ensures the preservation of its properties in various climatic conditions.
In addition, the name "Helios" is associated with wheat as a valuable agricultural crop possessing useful properties. Wheat is a source of microgreens - young shoots that contain carotenoids, combating the harmful effects of free radicals and contributing to strengthening health, increasing strength and intellectual abilities. This product has antioxidant properties and helps preserve cells from aging, which makes wheat an important element of a healthy diet.
