BRIGADA

Soft winter wheat of the BRIGADA variety is a mid-early and mid-height variety with a vegetation period ranging from 221 to 278 days. This variety is distinguished by its resistance to lodging and shattering, which helps preserve the yield in complex weather conditions. The mass of 1000 grains ranges from 35 to 44 grams, indicating the size and quality of the grain. BRIGADA is recommended for cultivation in the North Caucasus and Lower Volga regions of Russia, including such zones as the Republic of Adygea, and the Azov and South zones of the Rostov region.

The variety is characterized by high yield, reaching an average of 47.3 centners per hectare, with a potential up to 100 centners per hectare under optimal conditions. It has good and excellent baking qualities, making it in demand for the production of high-quality flour. BRIGADA has been included in the list of varieties with strong grain quality indicators, which confirms its value for the agricultural sector.

In terms of disease resistance, the variety shows medium resistance to brown rust and susceptibility to fusarium of the spike. Also, medium susceptibility to yellow rust, septoria, and leaf spots is noted. Drought resistance of the variety is at a high level, and frost resistance is increased, which allows for successful cultivation in various climatic conditions. The recommended sowing rate is 4.5–5.0 million viable seeds per hectare, which ensures optimal plant development and maximum productivity.
