NR 271 MV

Corn NR 271 MV — a high-yielding mid-season hybrid developed by the Ukrainian breeding brand LLC Nertus Agro. The hybrid features a medium maturity group with an FAO index of 260–270 and a full vegetation period of 107–110 days. Plants reach a height of 230–270 cm, possess a strong and branched root system, and have sturdy, elastic stems. The ears have a cylindrical or slightly conical shape, firmly attached to the stalk, with toothed kernels of bright yellow-orange color, 16–18 kernels per row, and 38–40 rows per ear. The thousand-kernel weight is 250–270 g.

Hybrid NR 271 MV exhibits high resistance to lodging, drought, and a broad spectrum of diseases, including downy mildew, helminthosporiosis, and fusarium. It also shows resistance to weeds and parasitic organisms, ensuring reliable cultivation even under stressful conditions. Thanks to these qualities, the hybrid is well-suited for cultivation in the forest-steppe zone, where it demonstrates stable performance when proper agronomic practices are followed.

The potential yield of the hybrid is over 150 c/ha for grain and more than 450 c/ha for silage. The recommended plant density at harvest is 65,000/ha for grain and 75,000/ha for silage. NR 271 MV seeds are certified, confirming their quality and suitability for agricultural production. The hybrid is widely used in farms focused on achieving high yields and resistance to adverse factors.
