Wheat Alicia

Winter wheat soft variety Alicia is an early-maturing, high-yielding, glumeless type, suitable for cultivation under various climatic conditions. This variety is distinguished by its high protein content exceeding 13.5% and natural content above 31%, ensuring high grain quality. Grain density amounts to approximately 810 g/l, indicating the density and quality of the harvest. The recommended seeding rate is 4.5–5.0 million germinating seeds per hectare, allowing to achieve potential yields of 90–100 centners per hectare.

One of the key advantages of the Alicia variety is its excellent resistance to major wheat diseases, including powdery mildew, brown and yellow rust, as well as fusarium, with resistance ratings of 7–8 points. This significantly reduces the risk of yield loss and decreases the need for intensive chemical protection.
