The 'Prykarpatskyy' hazelnut variety is a high-yielding and resilient cultivar developed at the end of the 20th century. The tree is medium- or tall-growing with a dense, round or oval crown formed by strong, spreading branches. This variety exhibits good winter hardiness and resistance to low temperatures, allowing successful cultivation under various climatic conditions. Fruit production begins on the 4th to 6th year after planting, with maximum yield achieved between 15 and 20 years of age, when one tree can produce 70 to 130 kg of nuts per season.

The fruits of the 'Prykarpatskyy' hazelnut have a round shape with a ribbed surface and a light-brown shell approximately 1 mm thick, which separates easily. The nuts weigh between 11 and 14 grams, and the kernel features a rich creamy color, high filling capacity, and exceptional taste — it is sweet and pleasant. Harvesting occurs at the end of September, allowing for early autumn collection.

The variety is self-pollinating, but for increased yield, additional pollinators are recommended. Due to its characteristics, 'Prykarpatskyy' is suitable both for personal cultivation and industrial production. Its stable yield, high frost resistance, and quality fruits make this variety an attractive choice for gardeners and farmers.
