Walnut «East Dawn» is a high-quality variety grown in ecologically pure areas with ideal growing conditions. The nut is characterized by its large size and rich taste: bright notes of sweetness combine with a light bitterness, and the thin shell facilitates opening. Inside lies an aromatic, oily kernel rich in beneficial fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals.
The variety is characterized by a late maturity period and resistance to brown spot, ensuring a stable yield in the range of 1.7–2.5 t/hectare. The tree has restrained growth and an oval crown; fruiting occurs at the upper-lateral nodes. Fruits have an elongated-oval shape, are uniform in size, and are easily preserved for up to 12 months with proper storage.
«East Dawn» is perfect for both fresh consumption and culinary use: nuts are used in desserts, appetizers, and oil-rich dishes. Due to their high nutritional value, they are valued not only in gastronomy but also in medicine, where they are applied as a source of vitamins and minerals.
