Jablunivskiy walnut is a high-yielding tree with a compact, rounded crown that begins fruiting as early as the 3rd-4th year after planting. The tree is vigorous, early-bearing, and highly resistant to diseases, significantly simplifying its care. By the age of 36, yield reaches 120–125 kg per tree, with stable and increasing fruiting as the plant ages.

Fruits of the Jablunivskiy variety have an oval shape and average weight ranging from 10.2 to 13 grams. The shell is thin, approximately 0.9–1.1 mm thick, with a smooth surface that facilitates cracking. The kernel is light-colored, oily, and contains high levels of fat — up to 74.85%, as well as protein and carbohydrates. The kernel makes up 50–54% of the fruit’s total weight, making this variety particularly attractive to consumers due to its high edible yield and excellent flavor, characterized by a sweet, oily taste.

Harvesting occurs in the second decade of September, allowing optimal collection timing. Additionally, the variety exhibits good cold tolerance and requires minimal care, making it suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions. All these characteristics make the Jablunivskiy walnut a profitable and convenient choice for gardeners and commercial producers.
