Basic automotive enamel VIKA «metallic» is intended for body repair painting of cars and other products as the first layer of a two-layer system with clear acrylic varnish. The enamel is made from high-quality raw materials according to AutozAZ standards, ensuring color accuracy and excluding defects such as flash difference, apple-greening, and fish-eye.
Before application, the surface must be thoroughly prepared: remove grease using a silane remover, repair using polyester putty, then perform dry sanding P280–P320. After this, prime with anti-corrosive primer WASH PRIMER ВЛ‑02 and apply leveling primers FILLER 4+1/FILLER 5+1/FILLER HS, followed by dry sanding P320–P400 (or wet R800–R1000). The enamel is applied via pneumatic spraying in 2–3 "wet" layers with a 10–15 minute dwell time between them and drying of the last layer for 15–20 minutes at 20 °C. After drying, a clear acrylic varnish is applied.
The enamel has a viscosity of 15–17 s at 20 °C (DIN Cup 4) and can be diluted with solvent up to 30% by weight of the enamel. The coating thickness is 15–20 µm for two layers. Packaged in a 1000 ml can, color – Noir Nacre (code 676), suitable for Renault brand cars. The manufacturer guarantees product quality for 12 months.
