Phytopathological Protection

The key technical feature of this variety is its built-in resistance to a complex of fungal pathogens. The breeding selection focused on blocking the development of brown spot (Cercospora medicaginis), which is a primary factor in the degradation of hay quality and leaf mass loss. Resistance to Mycosphaerella leaf spot allows the plant's photosynthetic apparatus to remain active until the mowing stage, directly impacting the protein content of the final product.
