Alfalfa Creno

Lucerne variety Creno is a medium-maturing variety of blue lucerne (Medicago sativa L. subsp. sativa), included in the State Register for the Central Chernozem region. Plants of this variety have medium height and intermediate bushiness, and leaves are characterized by medium green coloration. Average dry matter yield in the region reaches 66.3 centners/ha, which is 5.6 centners/ha higher than the average standard, and the variety also surpasses the standard in winter hardiness and plant height.

Creno is a genetically improved variety of lucerne Daisy, which is distinguished by high protein content, ensuring high nutritional value of feed. Improved yield and high winter hardiness make this variety especially attractive for agricultural use in regions with moderate climate. Thanks to these qualities, Creno contributes to increased productivity in forage harvesting.

A feature of this variety is its high resistance to verticillium wilt and good disease resistance, which significantly reduces the risk of yield losses due to diseases. The slender stems of the plants improve feed quality, making it more accessible and nutritious for animals. All these characteristics make lucerne Creno a universal and reliable choice for producing high-quality feed raw material.
