Vetch Darinka

Vika DARINKA – a spring-sown Vicia sativa L. crop intended for cultivation in the Western Siberian and Eastern Siberian regions. The plant is characterized by narrow green leaves of medium size in a wedge shape with tendrils, a light-green stem without bright anthocyanin coloring. The flowers have a light-purple sail, and the pods are medium in length and width, with a short beak and small ovules.

The variety is distinguished by large round grey-brown seeds with diffuse ornamentation. Yield of dry matter in the Eastern Siberian region reaches 37.7 c/ha (above the average standard), and in the Western Siberian region – 15.3 c/ha, confirming high productivity and stable growth under moderate climatic conditions. Vika DARINKA is resistant to the Ascochytosis pathogen, ensuring a reliable yield even under unfavorable field conditions.

The variety is recommended both for seed production and for obtaining green mass. It is suitable for cultivation in moderate climate zones where moderate irrigation and fertilization are required. Thanks to its resistance to diseases and high yield, Vika DARINKA is a reliable choice for farmers seeking to increase the efficiency of agricultural production in Siberia.
