Vetch Bilocterkivska 70

The spring vetch variety "Belotserkovskaya 70," developed by the "Belotserkovskaya State Agricultural Station named after O.K. Kolomiyets," is a reliable solution for farms aiming to maximize protein content in forage production. This variety is highly valued for its performance in Ukrainian soil and climatic zones, offering stability in both fodder yield and soil fertility management.

Agronomic Advantages

• Disease Resistance: The variety exhibits strong genetic resistance to rust and fusarium, significantly mitigating yield risks during seasons with high humidity.
• Balanced Growth Cycle: With a vegetation period of 110–130 days, the crop fits perfectly into the harvesting schedule, allowing for efficient management of forage equipment.
• Early Planting Capacity: Designed for early spring sowing, the variety efficiently utilizes winter moisture reserves, ensuring uniform establishment.

Practical Farm Integration

Farmers typically employ "Belotserkovskaya 70" as the backbone of high-protein forage mixtures. By sowing it alongside oats or barley, producers obtain a balanced, lodging-resistant crop that is easy to mow. Beyond its utility as a high-quality feed, this vetch variety acts as an excellent soil builder. As a legume, it contributes significant atmospheric nitrogen back into the soil, serving as a beneficial predecessor for subsequent cereal crops. Choosing this variety means investing in both immediate livestock nutrition and long-term soil health sustainability.
