Variety "Biloserska 34" is a spring vetch characterized by high productivity and useful properties. The plant has a large size, green and hairy stems, and elongated-oval leaves with 7-8 pairs of entire leaflets, ensuring dense foliage. The flowers are purple, and the pod is straight, light-brown, with a sharp bent tip and dense hairiness. Seeds are of medium size, round, gray-gray, wrinkled, smooth and matte, which promotes good germination.
The vegetative period to seed lasts 106-112 days, and to green mass - 49-57 days. Under high-yielding conditions, grain yield was about 25.1 c/ha, dry matter - 46.2 c/ha. Protein content in the dry matter of green mass is 23.12%, which makes this variety attractive for fodder applications.
The variety is characterized by resistance to spring drought and is well suited both for sowing on clay soils with sufficient moisture, and for use in combined agro-technical programs. Due to its high protein content and nutritional value, it is often used in fodder crops, and also helps prevent soil erosion due to its branched root system.
