FALCON is a mid-early classic pea vegetable hybrid intended for oilseed use. It is characterized by a vegetation period of 105 to 109 days and possesses high potential yield of over 50 centners per hectare. Oil content in seeds is 48-50%, while hullingness is at the level of 23-25%. The hybrid is distinguished by genetic resistance to powdery mildew, high tolerance to phoma, as well as resistance to rust and sunflower moth, which ensures reliable protection against pests and diseases in various climatic conditions of the steppe and forest-steppe.
For sowing peas, it is recommended to use the Falcon PRO seeder, which allows sowing peas at a depth of 4-5 cm with high accuracy thanks to the divided seed hopper and pneumatic packing roller. This technology ensures uniform soil compaction, capillarity recovery, and increased moisture, which promotes even and simultaneous germination even under unfavorable weather conditions, such as a dry spring.
To protect peas from fungal diseases, the use of the fungicide "Falcon" is recommended - a highly effective three-component systemic preparation containing tebuconazole, triadimenol, and spiroxamine. It provides control of a wide range of diseases, including powdery mildew, septoria, rust, and fusarium. The fungicide has a fast onset of action and a long-lasting protective effect, preventing the development of resistance in pathogens. Treatment is carried out during the vegetation period, which allows for effective protection of plants and increased yield without phytotoxicity.
