Vegetable Pea FAMILY

Vegetable pea of the "FAMILY" variety is an early maturing shelling variety, ripening 42-52 days from germination to technical maturity. Plants reach a height of 70-80 cm and have white flowers. Green pods up to 10 cm long contain 9-10 peas with a parchment layer. Seeds are consumed in the milk stage of maturity when they are green, juicy, and sweet, possessing excellent taste qualities. At technical maturity, the peas become wrinkled but maintain high quality, making the variety suitable for canning and freezing.

This pea variety is valued for its early and uniform crop formation, as well as its high content of beneficial substances. Peas contain a large amount of ascorbic acid, protein and vitamins, making it a tasty and healthy treat for the whole family. Thanks to its nutritional properties, peas can serve as a meat substitute in the diet, as well as being a source of B group vitamins, PP, iron, potassium, selenium and flavonoids - powerful antioxidants.

For successful cultivation of the "FAMILY" variety, it is recommended to choose sunny areas with well-processed soil and sow seeds at a depth of 4-6 cm. Plants need support for proper growth. Peas are consumed both fresh and boiled, as well as used for preparing soups, side dishes, salads, canning and freezing. With their sweet, fleshy and tender pods, this pea variety will be an excellent addition to your diet and please both children and adults with its taste.
