Vegetable Pea Triumph

Reliable Yields in Challenging Climates

The 'Triumf' vegetable pea variety is designed for farms that prioritize predictability and crop health. With a vegetation period of 70–80 days, this variety fits perfectly into standard crop rotation schedules. Its primary value lies in its strong genetic resistance to Ascochyta blight and various rots, which significantly reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, even in high-humidity seasons.

Practical Field Application

• Cost Efficiency: Due to its natural resistance to common pathogens, the variety requires fewer chemical interventions, lowering production costs and simplifying the management of organic-adjacent fields.
• Harvesting Convenience: The sturdy stem and uniform ripening make 'Triumf' highly suitable for mechanized harvesting, which keeps post-harvest losses to a minimum.
• Strategic Scheduling: The 70–80 day maturity window allows farmers to use this variety in different planting slots, helping to maintain a continuous supply of fresh produce throughout the season.

Developed by the Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing and the Bykovskaya Vegetable Breeding Station, 'Triumf' was specifically bred to withstand environmental stress and pressure from fungal diseases. Using high-quality seed material from these originators ensures excellent seedling vigor and uniform germination. For growers aiming for high-quality commercial peas with minimal risks of crop failure, 'Triumf' serves as a stable and reliable agricultural asset.
