Afonya

AFONYA is a mid-early variety of shelling vegetable pea, characterized by a period from full germination to the beginning of pod harvesting of 70-83 days. Plants are tall, reaching a height of 160-180 cm and require the installation of supports for proper growth. Pods are light green in color, slightly curved, 11-12 cm in length, and contain 8-9 peas. Seeds are wrinkled and green, which gives them an attractive appearance and good taste qualities.

The variety is characterized by high yield and synchronous ripening of pods, which facilitates harvesting and increases its efficiency. Due to its taste qualities, AFONYA is recommended for fresh consumption, as well as suitable for freezing, canning and drying.
